An air traffic controller is a professional who performs air traffic control functions in air traffic control units and is responsible for controlling the various stages of a flight. The percentage of hoarseness and vocal tract discomfort was In relation to air pollution, the percentages of hoarseness and vocal tract discomfort were higher among those who consider their working environment to be intolerable than among those in a comfortable or disturbing environment. The percentage of hoarseness was higher among those who seek medical advice due to vocal complaints and among those who experience difficulty using their voice at work than among those who experience mild or no difficulty.

Air traffic flow management ATFM A service established with the objective of contributing to a safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic by ensuring that ATC capacity is utilized to the maximum extent possible, and that the traffic volume is compatible with the capacities declared by the appropriate ATS authority.
How is Altitude Measured? How is Speed Measured? It is described by true airspeed and true heading. It is described by wind speed and the inverse of wind direction related to the true North.
It is described by ground track and ground speed. The Airspace Pg. Lateral limits between 2 NM and 5 NM radius. Lateral limits between 8 NM and 15 NM radius. Lateral limits between 40 NM and 50 NM radius. FIRs Pg. Allowable Flight Levels Brazil Pg.
Key concepts are: 1. Separation Maintaining a specific minimum distance between aircrafts or terrain to avoid collisions, normally by requiring aircraft to fly at set levels or level bands, on set routes or in certain directions, or by controlling an aircraft's speed. Clearance Permission given by ATC for an aircraft to proceed under certain conditions contained within the clearance. Traffic Information Information given by ATC on the position and, if known, intentions of other aircraft likely to pose a hazard to flight.

Turbulence is the irregular movement of the air flow that can cause ascending and descending shakes on an aircraft in flight. Turbulence can be classified into three types: mechanical turbulence, turbulence mat and thermal turbulence. The mechanical turbulence is caused by the wind flow through a solid structure mountain, buildings, airport hangars, hills etc. In plateau regions, relief can contribute to the occurrence of "mountain circulation" that can trigger deep convection processes and generate orographic turbulence.

DOI: METHOD The voices of a group of 45 ATCs were recorded before and after a 2-hour shift, regardless of their operational position or number of previously worked shifts; both genders were included, participants had a mean age of 25 years, and they had a mean length of occupational experience of 4 years and 2 months.
